Survey Summary

The average FY2022 SCELC library budget change was +0.3%


Roughly 60% of SCELC library budgets were flat or declined in fiscal year 2022


Mid-size library budgets tended to increase in FY2022


But the average SCELC library budget is still down -3.1% since FY2020

* Only libraries that responded in both years and reported similar FY2021 budget totals in the Fall 2020 and Fall 2021 survey were included.
