Author Identification
  • corresponding author & institutional email address at submission
  • author instructed to select Institutionally Paid Open Access / Permissions Release
    • Note that no additional payment is requires (it is covered by your libraries subscription)
    • Re-use rights are also selected as part of this workflow
  • ORCID is required of the corresponding author
  • If the corresponding author changes their email address from their institutional domain to a non-institutional domain, their paper will no longer be part of the ACM Open Program, although authors may change their email address if they are no longer at the institution and do not have access to that email inbox anymore
  • Default is Author...may select to retain copyright and give exclusive license to publish to ACM

  • ACM will retroactively open any APC-eligible articles published from the previous July 1 through to the date that your ACM Open workflow is set up. 
  • Rights and CC license cannot be changed or added after the VOR is published.
