Who: ~5 SCELC library volunteers that subscribe to content on a majority of the participating platforms, ideally those that have already used a sushi-based harvesting service (or have easy access to a list of their sushi credentials and are willing to share)
What: Participating libraries will:
- provide their sushi credentials for these platforms
- American Chemical Society | Cambridge | Ebsco | Elsevier | JSTOR | Oxford (journals) | SAGE Journals | Springer Nature | Taylor and Francis | Wiley
- support any necessary troubleshooting
- gain access to their statistics via a login to the CC-plus platform
- receive a report comparing 2020 cost per use within and between 3 or more journal packages for a pilot set of 5-10 SCELC libraries
When: Feb - April 2021
Where: SCELC CC-PLUS pilot instance to be hosted by Consortia Manager or PALCI
Why:
- To learn about CC-PLUS and its suitability for harvesting statistics in support of SCELC negotiation
- To support CC-PLUS with user feedback during its initial release phase
- Because SCELC has agreed to take the lead on the next CC-PLUS IMLS National Leadership Project Grant should IMLS decide to fund it
